Everyone in Biology (faculty, postdocs, grad students, staff, lab techs...) and families are invited to attend this super-fun, community-building event including a wide variety of relaxed outdoor fun. In the past this has included a lab group soccer match, slow bike races, competitive rounds of rock-paper-scissors, baby races (really), croquet, frisbee/disc golf of varying sorts and more. Things wind down around dusk with a potluck dinner and smores around the fire. This year we also celebrate David Houle on his retirement (with thanks for hosting this even near his home and making bathrooms available). Bring your own chair or picnic blanket to sit on, food /drinks to share, and sense of fun and fellowship.
