A photo opportunity with Darwin will be available beginning at 2:30 PM. We will have live music, cake, and of course the traditional Yo Chuck! salute, starting at 3:15 pm. We will gather in the courtyard outside KING 1024, weather permitting. If weather is unpleasant, we will shift the celebration to the next day, Friday. Guest speaker both days is Dr. Catalina Cuellar-Gempeler, a former postdoc in our Department, who investigates interactions between microbial communities and their hosts. In addition, she composed several of the musical pieces you will hear at the celebration, and she will also perform! |
