Kingdom Animalia - Eucoelomates
Phylum Chordata
We recognize three subphyla within Phylum Chordata for the purpose of this course. All members of this phylum possess these four characteristics (at some time in their life history):
  1. dorsal hollow nerve cord
  2. notochord
  3. gill slits
  4. post-anal tail

 

Subphylum Urochordata

Subphylum Cephalochordata

Subphylum Vertebrata
