POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN EVOLUTIONARY GENETICS

A postdoctoral position is now available in the laboratory of David Houle at Florida State University for research on the relationship between mutation, genetic variation and adaptation. This flexible position offers the opportunity to pursue this complex of problems from a variety of perspectives. I seek a candidate whose interests and skills enhance or complement my current research. I conduct both  theoretical work, and experimental work with Drosophila melanogaster. The position is for one year initially, with likely extension to a second year for a suitable candidate. Salary will be $22,000-$25,000/year edpending on experience.
