"I like big'uns, little'uns and in-between'uns"   -The mighty Al Bundy

The Big'uns had a great inaugural intramural season in 1999.  Going undefeated during the regular season (5-0) and earning the #1 seed in the tournament was not enough for this overachieving group of guys.  After a stellar comeback rally scoring 12 runs in the 4th inning in there opening tournament game, the powerful Big'uns ran out of juice when they met the eventual tourney winners - the Cubs - in the second round, and they lost a close one: 23-3 (that's brutal!).  Even with this heartbreaking loss, the Big'uns are re-loading for city league.  This Fall the Big'uns will return 10 starters and should be competitive in the TPRD league.

The rest of the TPRD will be pleased to know that the Big'uns decided to take the summer off.  So maybe some of other teams will have the chance to battle it out for a championship.  Even though the Big'uns are not playing this summer, 4 of the top players have been picked up by the B league team "Bad News".  Big "O" the ham destroying, wing cleaning, cleanup hitter; Griff the slick fielding, guitar picking wonder kid; The Steve Miller shift boy, line drive hitting, trash talking relief pitcher; and finally the Fat Clemenza, the slow fat, token asian; they will all wreck havok on opposing teams!
