My name is Paul Gignac, and I’m a 3rd year graduate student in the Biological Science department at Florida State University where I study comparative evolutionary biomechanics. My research focuses on using the evolution of the feeding system in modern archosaurs (crocodilians and birds) as a template to understand the evolution of functionally integrated systems. I have a bachelor’s from the University of Connecticut where I studied feeding in squamate lizards under Dr. Kurt Schwenk. Currently, I am working on my doctorate with Dr. Gregory Erickson. Thanks for visiting!
