My brother Dave and I drove my heavily loaded Suzuki Grand Vitara hauling our two Kawasaki KLR 650 Dual Sport motorcycles to the San Juan Mountains of SouthWest Colorado in July 2002. We set up base camp at 10,000 ft. elevation below Ophir Pass and made daily jaunts over all the passes in region via the extensive network of four wheel drive trails in the area. Wow, what a great time!
