The big news around here last week was the visit of "le PDG" (pronounced "pay-day-zhay"; it stands for "Président et Directeur Général," French for "CEO"), This is the guy who is in charge of Ifremer nationwide, appointed only a couple of months ago. He's systematically visiting Ifremer sites all over France, and Thursday was our day.
My usual two-hour Thursday English grammar clinic was postponed until Friday, and as he passed through, we were even introduced personally.
