Jones Ecological Research Center, Newton, GA. Host: Friends of the Apalachicola National Forest.

Tuesday, December 12 – Tuesday, December 12, 12:15 pm – 12:15 pm, UKirk Tallahassee, 548 W. Park Ave.—FACULTY LUNCHEON SERIES, "Breathing life into T. rex," Dr. Gregory M. Erickson, Department of Biological Science, Florida State University. Host: UKirk Tallahassee, the FSU Faculty and Friends Club, and the Alpha of Florida Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. The series is open to the public. Luncheons begin at 12:15, and the programs follow at 12:45, concluding at 1:30. Lunches are $10 per session, and reservations are required. All reservations must be made by noon of the Thursday before each luncheon. Please mail reservation requests to UKirk Tallahassee, 548 W. Park Ave., Tallahassee, FL 32301, with a check made payable to UKirk Tallahassee and clearly marked "Faculty Luncheon Series." Parking is available in the lot on the north side of the building.

Host: Dr. Jonathan H. Dennis.

Wednesday, December 13 – Wednesday, December 13, 3:30 pm – 3:30 pm, 2057 KIN—SPECIAL SEMINAR, "Zebrafish skin: a new system for studying nerve remodeling and repair," Dr. Jeffrey Rassmussen, Department of Molecular, Cell, and Developmental biology, University of California, Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Rassmussen is a candidate for a Developmental Biology faculty position, and will give a chalk talk Thursday, December 14, at 9:00am, 2057 KIN. Contact Dr. James M.
