TBD—BIOLOGY DEPARTMENT HOLIDAY LUNCHEON This event is for everyone in the Biology Department (staff, graduate students, postdocs, faculty). Event Highlights: Ugliest Sweater Competition, Hot Chocolate Bar, Holiday Raffle (tickets available at the luncheon), General Holiday Cheer.

Monday, December 9 – Monday, December 9, 1:30 pm – 1:30 pm, 1024 KIN—BIOLOGY NEUROSCIENCE CANDIDATE SEMINAR, "Extracting circuit principles through comparative neuroscience," Dr. Suguru Takagi , University of Lausanne, Switzerland, Center for Integrative Genetics. Host: Dr. Hengli Tang, Department of Biological Science, FSU. The speaker is a candidate for a faculty position in Biology - Neuroscience. There will be a student lunch with the candidate, 12:50pm Tuesday 12/10, and a chalk talk Tuesday, 9:30 am A211 PDB.

Join your fellow Bio department members (faculty, staff, students, postdocs) for lunch at the Seminole Cafe, Fridays during Fall 2024. No need to plan or prepare. Just come sit at the Bio table. The Seminole Cafe dining hall on campus, a short and pleasant walk from any of the buildings.
