Obituaries

• On 30 May, Professor Margaret Y. Menzel died. She was a research associate and faculty member in the department from 1955 until her death.

• On 10 December, Professor Emerita Ruth Olive Schornherst Breen died. She joined the department of Botany in 1926 and retired from the Department of Biological Science in 1965.
