Associate Professor Wu-Min Deng, postdoctoral investigator Yoichiro Tamori, and their collaborator Yasuyuki Fujita of University College London were featured in the 13 July 2010 issue of Florida State News for their discovery of "Majong," a gene with implications for cancer therapy.

Professor Emeritus Marc E. Freeman and collaborator Richard Bertram from the Department of Mathematics were featured in the 3 August 2010 issue of Florida State News for their novel approach to understanding pituitary function.
