The participants at the Young Scholars Program stay for the duration of six weeks at the residential Osceola Hall on the Florida State University campus, found in walking and biking distance from the various facilities available to the students. The dormitory is set up in twin buildings, with one side harboring the rooms while the other includes the cafeteria, pool, gym, laundry services, and a community lobby. Each student lives with a roommate and two other suitemates and the boys and girls are separated on each side of the hall. Four counselors, including one head counselor, supervise living patterns, watching curfews and also providing rides to the weekend outings or to other necessary destinations. The rooms offer comfortable amenities, including internet access, and the main floor lobby allows for large gatherings. The vicinity of the Osceola Hall dormitory includes the exciting Tallahassee downtown, as well as the lively Florida State campus.
