San Francisco / Chico, California

Summer 2006

IĠd like to welcome you all to view these pictures from my trip to Northern California during the summer of 2006.

I am a graduate student in the Department of Biological Science at the Florida State University.

I had the opportunity to visit the wonderful campus of the University of California at Chico for the Botany conference in 2006.  This was a meeting of the Botanical Society of America and affiliated organizations.  Chico was a wonderful place to visit, and the campus is as beautiful a college campus as there is.  Due to the nature of the conference however I took precious few pictures of the campus itself.  Most of the pictures presented here come from a trip that I took after the conference down the California coast to San Francisco.  For those of you who are savvy to the nature of that city, you may feel that the weather representing early August is a bit off, you are correct.  The Bay area was experiencing a bit of unusually warm weather for the duration of my visit, so much the better for your viewing pleasure.  So, without further ado, I give you the majesty and magic of the Northern California coast, enjoy.
