20-23 November 1996, The First Mote International Symposium in Fisheries Ecology, "Marine Stock Enchancement: A New Perspective," took place in Sarasota, Florida. The symposium was organized by members of the department, and the proceedings were edited here and published as a special issue of Bulletin of Marine Science.
